"Battleship" Beer Pong

Milton Bradley meets Natty Light...

A variation on classic Beer Pong / Beirut, “Battleship” is one of many large size beer pong games.

Battleship is played with 70 cups on a side arranged in a rectangle of ten across by seven deep. There are three or four players on a team.

While most cups have the normal one-fifth of a beer each, each team has a battleship, two mid-size ships, and one destroyer, which are cups that have liquor, instead of beer. A battle ship is four cups in a row, the mid-sized ships are three cups, and the destroyer is two cups.

Teams pour their ships in secret from the other team, so that opponents do not know where each others ships are.

First turn is decided via coin toss to save time.

Each team member shoots their balls, there are no bring backs, regardless of how many shots are made.

If a beer cup is made, it is removed, and drank. If a ship is hit, the cup is removed and drank, and the defending team must declare the a ship has been hit, but does not need to declare which ship.

If all cups of a ship are hit, the defending team must declare the ship has been sunk, and which ship it was.

A game is won when all the opponents ships have been sunk, remaining beer may be used in the next game, or fairly distributed.

Defending teams drink in a pre-designated order. The same order is used separately for liquor cups.

There are no re-racks or bounces allowed.
